Store Hold Charity Event For Sir Bobby

Just a few tickets remain for a charity ball in aid of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

Furniture department employees at House of Fraser in the Metrocentre at Gateshead, have raised �4,700 over the last year in memory of colleagues they have lost to cancer. Now they are planning one last event � a charity ball at the Copthorne Hotel, Newcastle.

The night, which has a theme of black and pink, follows a successful ball held in March, which raised �1,700. It will take place this Saturday, November 3, from 8pm. Tickets are �30 and include a drink on arrival, meal and raffle. 

One of the organiser said: �We have lost so many colleagues to cancer over the years and we want to help support this local charity.�
